Benny McIntosh dies
      Funeral services for Benny Ray McIntosh, 48, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Premium Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Obey Fields Cemetery at Cowan. A son of the late Lee and Nesbie Watts McIntosh, he was born in Perry County. He died July 22 at his home at Cowan after a long illness.

      Funeral services for Bonnie Amburgey Davis, 88, were held July 22 at the Neon First Church of God. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine. A daughter of the late Casie and Betty Ison Amburgey, she was born in Neon. She died July 19 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

      James Edward Morris, 82, of Ward, Arkansas, died July 17. Born in Whitesburg, he was a son of the late Marion and Della Morris. Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Morris, and two brothers, Earl Morris and Charles Morris, both of Florida.

Willmer Halcomb succumbs at 84
      Funeral services for Willmer Halcomb, 84, will be held Thursday in Carlisle. Born in Gordon, he was a son of the late Irvin and Mary E. Halcomb. He was a graduate of Kingdom Come High School, Eastern Kentucky State Teacher's College, and the University of Kentucky. He died July 22 after a short illness.

      Funeral services for Terry Lynn Brock, 39, of Mayking, were held July 24 at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the Fugate Cemetery at Mayking. A son of Katherine Sandlin Brock of Sergent and the late Henry Brock, he died July 20 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was an uncle of the late Geria Brock.
