Vick seeks mercy from court - and the NFL
      Michael Vick has more to worry about at the moment than what Roger Goodell thinks. Or so it seems. For one thing, he's going to jail, for a year at the minimum, possibly up to 18 months, perhaps a lot longer. That's assuming his guilty plea Monday in the federal case means Vick won't face state charges in Virginia.

Cavs ready after final scrimmage
      The Jenkins Cavaliers traveled to Betsy Lane Friday to participate in a four-team scrimmage. The Cavs took on Magoffin County and opened the scoring on a half back pass in the flats from quarterback Chris Puckett to fellow senior running back Johnathan Taylor for a 48-yard touchdown.
