Latest Kentucky state news from The Associated Press:

Funeral set for wreck victim

Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) for a Jenkins man who died after being injured in a traffic accident in Fleming-Neon on Sunday.

Kentucky State Police say Jason Allan Robinson, 30, died after a vehicle being driven by 32-year-old

Baker went out of control on KY 317, struck a utility pole and overturned.

Robinson was one of four passengers riding with Baker and was ejected from the car after the impact, police say. Two other passengers - 25-year-old Ricky Dingus and 48-year-old Greg Ratliff - were also ejected. Dingus was airlifted to Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn., for treatment. Ratliff was treated at Jenkins Community Hospital.

Tammy Baker was also treated at the Jenkins hospital.

Police say a fourth passenger, Douglas Mark Baker Jr., 45, ran from the scene of the accident. No one involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt, police added.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Loren Holiday, who is investigating the accident, would not say whether drugs or alcohol were a factor.

Funeral services for Robinson will be held at 1 p.m. today at Carty Funeral Home in Jenkins. Burial will be in the Rob Ratliff Cemetery at Shelby Gap.

Born in Pikeville, he had worked as a coal miner and enjoyed carpentry work and camping. He was a grandson of the late Carl Robinson and Ervin and Marcella Ratliff.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Rodney and Martha Robinson, Jenkins; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Reno Kiser, McRoberts; a son, Jason Scott Robinson, Neon; two sisters, Rebecca Ann Baker and husband Mark, Neon, and Kayla Elizabeth Robinson, McRoberts; two stepbrothers, Ricky Dingus and Sam Branson, both of Seco; his grandmother, Ruth Robinson, Jenkins; a niece, Tiffany Baker, Neon; and a nephew, Mark Baker II, Neon.
