Police say no other persons or vehicles were involved in the collision, and that Meade was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper David Slone.

Funeral services for Meade were held Oct. 9 at the Neon Church of Christ. Burial followed in the Meade family cemetery located at Deane.
