Funeral services held for Frank Corrello

Frank Corrello of Whitesburg, died June 4 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was 87 years old.

Born at Cromona, he was a son of the late Nick and Pearl Hall Corrello. He was the stepfather of the late James Earl Mohn.

Corrello was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II where he was a medical technician in the European Theater. He was the recipient of four Bronze Stars.

He was a stone mason and a member of Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Esther Hall Corrello; a daughter, Myra Corrello and husband Tim Webb, New Orleans, La.; a stepson, Dan Mohn and wife Sharon, Louisville; daughterin law, Rebecca Mohn; two sisters, Dorothy McCullum, Jenkins, and Maggie Manicure, Abingdon, Va.; a brother, Henry Corrello, Goshen, Ohio; four grandchildren, Richard Mohn and wife Donna, Melissa Leeper and husband John, Erik Mohn and wife Laura Shuffett, and Kristen Smith and husband Tyler; and two great-grandchildren, Alex Leeper and Luke Leeper.

Funeral services were held June 6 at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Evergreen (Williams) Cemetery at Whitesburg.

Everidge Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
