What the jury heard
      Testimony was heard from a total of nine witnesses by the end of the day on Tuesday in the trial of Rosemary Fields McClain, the Eolia woman who is charged with murdering her best friend, Lisa Jenkins. Testimony is scheduled to resume in Letcher Circuit Court at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (August 28).

      The photograph at top shows a young Iva Robbins Potter posing beside a 1936 Ford Tudor sedan which Arlie Potter, now 85, drove to meet her for the first time in 1944. Mrs. Potter died earlier this year. The photo at right shows Arlie Potter working on the old car. Potter, who lives at Jenkins, was presented with a new '36 Ford earlier this month.
