Services are held for Karen Haynes
      Funeral services for Karen Haynes, 52, of Cynthiana, formerly of Ermine, were held September 18 at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the Thornton Cemetery. A daughter of Geneva Adams of Ermine and the late John Adams, she died September 15 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.

Services held for William Kincer Sr.
      William Kincer Sr., 75, of Hellenwood, Tenn., died September 17. Born at Kona, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lula Webb Kincer. He was married to the late Margaret Ann Cantrell Kincer. Kincer lived in Detroit, Mich., for many years and was a member of the Retired Detroit Police Officers Association and the Sugar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

      John Watts, 90, of Hallie, died September 18. He was a son of the late Eli Watts and Polly Ann Watts Campbell. He was a brother of the late Squire Watts, George Watts, Floyd Watts, Green Watts, Fulton Watts, Belvia Blair, Lora Adams, Vina Sergent, Ritter Fields, and Callie Watts.

      Funeral services for Allen Fonso Smallwood, 87, of Clark County, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Jenkins. Burial will be in the Dulaney family cemetery. Born at Burdine, he was a son of the late William O'Bradley and Lillian Wright Smallwood. He was married to the late Magdelene Vanover Smallwood.

Narcie Mae Toth buried at Pikeville
      Funeral services for Narcie Mae Wenix Toth, 89, of Dunham, were held September 13. Burial was in Johnson Memorial Park at Pikeville. Born in Pike County, she was a daughter of the late Fred Newton and Jettie Marie West Fife. She was married to the late Felix Wenix and after his death married the late Louie Toth. She died September 10 at Jenkins Community Hospital.
