Bluegrass music set for Norton

Tyme to perform
      East KY Tyme will play at the Hemphill Community Center from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21. They will also be hosting a potluck dinner celebrating "Ice Bee" Cantrell's 99th birthday.       Rose Hill Drive, a band critics often compare favorably to Led Zeppelin and Cream, performed in concert last week at Summit City in Whitesburg. The band from Boulder, Colorado is led by brothers Daniel Sproul (left) on guitar and vocals and Jacob Sproul (right) on bass and vocals. The drummer is Nathan Barnes.

Three Irish Tenors present Christmas From Dublin'
      A program of Irish music is on tap when the Three Irish Tenors visit Big Stone Gap, Va., for "Christmas From Dublin," Monday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. The program is presented by Pro-Art Association, The University of Virginia's College at Wise and Mountain Empire Community College as part of the Mountain Empire Community College Cultural Arts Series.
