Scholarship Golf Classic scheduled
The 18th annual Scholarship Golf Classic, sponsored by the Southeast Education Foundation Inc., will be held Saturday, May 10, beginning at 9 a.m. at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course at Cumberland.
Proceeds from the event - a four-person, select-shot 18-hole scramble with two teams playing per hole - will go to the scholarship fund of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. A putting contest will get underway at 8:30 a.m.
The tax deductible entry fee is $60 or $240 per team. A meal ticket, which is separate from the entry fee, will be available for $10.
