May is Elder Abuse Awareness Month
May has been designed Elder Abuse Awareness Month. The Kentucky River Council Against Maltreatment of Elders is asking all county judges and mayor to sign a proclamation declaring May Elder Abuse Awareness Month in their city and county. Throughout the month silver ribbons will be worn to create awareness of elder abuse.
