Parking limited for LCCHS graduation
Graduation at Letcher County Central High School has been set for 7 p.m., May 16. Each senior will be given a pass for one vehicle to park in the teachers' parking area by the school. This pass must be presented at the time of arrival. Other parking spaces will be given first-come basis. Limited numbers of handicap slots are available, and there will be a drop-off at the front entrance of the gym.
After the paved parking area is filled, the next upper level flat will be used for parking. Next, the future soccer field on the campus will be used. As additional parking is needed, the Cabinet for Family and Children's parking, the old Whitesburg High School campus, and City of Whitesburg's free parking area will be used. All areas off campus, as well as the future soccer field, will have shuttle bus services. Attendees are asked to carpool whenever possible and to arrive early.
