Minnie Collins dies in Indiana

| Former Letcher County resident Minnie Collins, 95, of Greenfield, Ind., died April 15.
Born in Whitesburg, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Hennie Back Adams. She was married to the late Curtis Collins and the late Hubert Collins. She was the mother of the late P.J. Hall and the grandmother of the late Bridget Collins-Mayberry.
Mrs. Collins was the former postmaster in Sackett, Ky., during the 1940s.
She is survived by a son, Norman L. Collins and wife Mary, Greenfield, Ind.; two daughters, Georgia Fay Swims and husband William, Michigan, and Betty Sue Hall, Greenfield, Ind.; two brothers, William Adams Jr., Plainfield, Ind., and Ival Adams, Michigan; four sisters, Nan Breeding, Inez Adams, Billie Lois Adams, and Ruth Collins, all of Kentucky; grandchildren, Billy W. Swims and wife Melissa, Gregg Hall and wife Jody, Lea Ann Hinshaw and husband Rick, and Christopher Collins and wife Jessie, all of Greenfield, Ind.; 12 great-grandchildren, and a great-greatgrandchild.
Funeral services were held April 19 in Greenfield, Ind. Burial was in the Park Cemetery.
