Photo displays planned

The Fleming-Neon Days Committee and the Whitesburg Days Committee are planning pictorial displays along the Main Streets in their communities in conjunction with this year's Mountain Heritage Festival theme of "Making Tracks Thru Letcher County."

The committees are seeking old and new photographs for the displays — titled "Our Families Made Tracks Thru Letcher County." The Fleming-Neon display will be Sept. 12 and 13, and the Whitesburg display will be Sept. 24.
