Services are held for Karen Haynes

Funeral services for Karen Haynes, 52, of Cynthiana, formerly of Ermine, were held September 18 at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the Thornton Cemetery.

A daughter of Geneva Adams of Ermine and the late John Adams, she died September 15 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.

Mrs. Haynes attended the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 36 years, Eddie Dean Haynes; a son, Phillip Dean Haynes; a daughter, Amanda Lee Brown and husband Tim; four grandchildren, Sydney Skye Clemons, Amber Lee Clemons, Austin Clyde Haynes, and Megann Marlene Haynes, all of Cynthiana; and three sisters, Wanda Tolliver and husband Buck, Linda Hatton and husband Larry, and Tena Adams, all of Whitesburg.
