William David "Bill" Lewis, 66, of Partridge died June 25 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born at Lynch, he was a retired coal miner and heavy equipment operator, and had worked more than 20 years with Arch Coal and U.S. Steel.
