Eggs were hidden and found all day
I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. It warmed up very nice and I love the weather.
Randy, Jennifer, Jared and Ethan Isaacs spent the weekend with us. Jared and Ethan and their cousin Kaylee Baker colored eggs on Saturday and then had a lot of hiding and finding the rest of the day.
Jennifer, Carol and I cooked Easter dinner on Saturday. Coolie and Janice came by later and had dinner. It is such a blessing for families to get together. I thank God for my wonderful family and friends. They have really been there for us for the past four months and Clester and I are so thankful.
Friday evening, Clester and I had Johnny and Jessie Adams-Watts, Woody and Madge Sturgill come by for a visit. I have known Jessie most of my life and even though Woody and I are cousins I had never met him. I hope they come back real soon and we can spend a lot of time together. Woody’s grandfather and my grandfather were brothers .
Our center had a potluck dinner on Thursday. Our Representative, John Short, attended, and also Leanna and Ed Mullins. We always have so much good food and fellowship. I thank God for the center and the people who work there and those who come.
Prayers for Geneva Akemon, Joyce and Arthur Sergent, Harold Kincer, Duke Lucas and Clester.
Samantha Hall delivered her daughter Kyleigh on Saturday and she is beautiful. Congratulations to Jeff and Margaret, Melvin and Lettie. Brittany is so tickled with her little cousin.
I hope Brooke Lucas enjoyed the circus. She was convinced they had to sneak in! Her little brother will be arriving soon and we can’t wait.
A big birthday wish to Maxine Quillen on April 12. She and Joann danced this weekend and had a blast.
Our grandson Jason Holbrook and his wife Tina and their children spent a couple days at the Great Wolf Lodge and the children had so much fun. Greg, Sharon and Amanda missed them, but they were back home for the weekend.
May God bless.
