THANK YOU

The Whitesburg Lions Club and the Jenkins Kiwanis Club held an Easter Egg hunt April 8 at Fishpond Lake, with over 150 people attending the event. The clubs provided 100 Easter buckets filled with 5,450 eggs, and candy, and plastic eggs filled with candy and money. Aubrey Bates, 2, was the winner of an Easter cake from Dairy Queen. She is the daughter of Tiffany and Anthony Bates of Jenkins, and is pictured with her grandfather, Sid Tolen. This was the first combined effort for the community.
