More than 20 bands will play at festival atop Pine Mountain July 6-9

Supermoon, an annual music and arts festival at the summit of Pine Mountain, will be held July 6-9.

The event at Wiley’s Last Resort will begin at 7 p.m. that Thursday and run through 7 p.m. that Saturday. The festival will feature more than 20 bands. Tickets are $55 presale through www.evenbrite.com or $75 at the gate. Limited car camping is $25.

Bands performing at the event include: Carnival Giant, Cactus Attack, Vessel, Lancelott, Driftwood Gypsy, Restless Leg String Band, Still Holler, Moonshine District,

Electric Garden, Hollow Bone, Magnolia Boulevard, Mama Said String Band, Anderson Road, Trucker Hat Coalition, part of the Problem, Your Favorite Sons, Ye Ole Remedy, The Technicolor Nightmare, Meagan Hillyer, and Hippies Killed the Grass.

Wiley’s Last Resort is a barefoot-friendly wilderness camping area, so glass is prohibited. No dogs are allowed at the festival.

Wiley’s Last Resort is on U.S. 119 approximately 3 miles south of Whitesburg. The entrances are marked with flamingos.
