Jerry Pace dies in Indiana

Funeral services for Jerry R. Pace Sr., 77, will be held November 11 in Whitesburg. Burial will follow at the Vernon Pace Cemetery at Pine Creek. Visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on November 10.

A son of the late Vernon C. and Delcie Mae Craft Pace, he was born in Whitesburg. He died November 5 at his home in Freetown, Ind.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were a daughter, Karla Mae Pace, and a brother, Gary Pace.

Mr. Pace loved NASCAR, playing and listening to bluegrass music, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Eva Craft Pace; three sons, Jerry R. Pace Jr., Phillip C. Pace, Mark E. Pace and wife Amy, all of Freetown, Ind.; four brothers, Joe Pace and wife Peggy of Freetown, Ind., William Pace and wife Wanda of Columbus, Ind., and Bennie Pace and wife Cheryl Jean of Hayden, Ind. and Owen Pace and wife Barbara of Freetown, Ind; three sisters, Judy Brown and husband Arthur, and Betsy Lambert and husband Mark, all of Columbus, Ind., and Vauldra Bailey and husband Ron of Whiteland, Ind.; grandchildren, Alexis, Angel, Cheyenne and Kendra; and great-grandchildren, Athena, Annabella and Bentley.
