Thank You

The family of Shirley F. Breeding would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who called, posted tributes, send cards and flowers, brought food, and joined us at her services. We owe a special thanks to all those who helped us prepare and participated in her services. A special thanks to the staff of Letcher Funeral Home for your compassion and support. We thank the staff of MCHC, the Appalachian Heart Center, and the ARH Cardiology Clinic for the care they provided her over the years. We especially want to thank Dr. Van Breeding for helping us to keep her here with us for so many wonderful years. Every day that she was with us was a blessing from God and she will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life for our mama will be held on Saturday, April 14, at the Mountain Shrine Club in Whitesburg, beginning at 12:00 noon. The Celebration will be a time of fellowship, singing, and sharing good food, all of which Mom loved If anyone has any special stories about Mom that you would like to share at the Celebration, you are welcome to share them yourselves or forward them to Sherie or Jackie via phone, email, or mail for sharing. Please bring a dish and plan to come and join the Celebration of the Life of a truly special lady. Miss Me — But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone. It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. MISS ME — BUT LET ME GO (Author Unknown)
