AT ARLIE BOGGS



Lester Cornett, Tyler Shepherd, and Charlie Stanley work to beautify the front of Arlie Boggs Elementary School. Cumberland River Coal Company donated flowers and shrubs, and the school received a mini grant for the project from the Letcher County Conservation Office.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATE



Emily Grace Caudill was graduated from kindergarten at West Whitesburg Elementary School on May 8. She is the 5 1/2-year-old daughter of David “Tiny” and Holly Caudill of Isom. Her grandparents are Linda Breeding of Isom and the late Roger Breeding, and Gary and Katie Caudill of Blackey. She has a younger sister, Madison, Layne, 2.

ATV ride planned



The Gordon Fire Department will host an all-terrain vehicle ride beginning at the fire department at 12:30 p.m., June 7.
