Vacation Bible School planned

The Cornerstone Church in Whitesburg will hold Vacation Bible School from 6 to 9 p.m., July 20 through July 24. The theme of the school is “Boot Camp”, and it will include games, craft projects, drama skits, dance, and music. It is open to children from preschool to the sixth grade.

Beauty Pageant set at Jenkins

The Miss and Mr. Riverside Days Pageant will be held at 6 p.m., August 4, at the Jenkins High School gymnasium. Registration will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. entrants will be judged in eight age categories, with a king and queen selected in each age group. For more information, call 832-0090.
