Celebration at Letcher Manor



During the last week of October, residents at Letcher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility celebrated Halloween by decorating pumpkins, telling ghost stories, watching Halloween movies and fixing treat bags for the staff’s children. They ended the week with a Halloween party and a Halloween costume contest for both residents and staff.

Show to benefit cancer patient



A bluegrass and gospel show will be held at 1 p.m., Nov. 7, at Campbell’s Branch Community Center. Benefit set at Hemphill



Hemphill Community Center will host a benefit for the Fleming-Neon eighth grade class from 6 to 9 p.m., Nov. 14, featuring Dawson Creek Band and AfterShock.
