Four-month-old Tiannah Destiny Amelia Potter died April 14 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. $250 scholarships now being offered



The Mountain Heritage Festival Scholarship Committee is now taking applications for four $250 scholarships for the fall semester. High school seniors and nontraditional students are encouraged to apply. Applications must be returned by May 10. Applications are online at www.mountainheritagefestival.com or at the Harry M. Auction is set



Whitaker Bank’s Relay for Life team will hold an auction at 7 p.m. on April 22 at Wildcat Auction in Scuddy, located beside R.W. Combs Elementary School.
