Blood drive set



The Kentucky Blood Center Bloodmobile will be at Whitesburg Plaza from noon to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 24. Donors must be at least 17 years old, and weigh at least 110 pounds. The drive is sponsored by Whitesburg Walmart, and each donor will receive a $10 Walmart gift card. For more information, call (800) 775-2522.

Charity bike ride set



Whitesburg Bike Nite will host a Shriner’s Charity Ride on Saturday, June 9. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. at the Mountain Shrine Building in Whitesburg, and the ride will begin at noon.
