COLLINS —The 11th reunion of the family of Henry and Rosilla Collins and Silasand Effie Collins will be held at Pine Oak Shelter at Carr Creek Lake from noon to 6 p.m., August 3. WHITAKER — The Mitchell Gentry Whitaker family reunion will be held July 20 at the Pin Oak Shelter at Carr Creek Lake from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish, soft drinks and an item for auction to pay for the shelter. FRAZIER/COMBS — The Frazier/ Combs reunion will be held on Saturday, June 21, at the Little Colley Baptist Church. The gathering will begin at 10:30 a.m. Those attending should bring family pictures and a covered dish.

WHS CLASS OF ’ 64 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1964 will hold its 50-year reunion July 11 and 12 at the Shriners Building in Whitesburg. All classmates, guests and former teachers are welcome. Those with addresses for Loretta Brown, Roger Adams, Della Colwell, Walter Day, Geneivie Devlin, Ty Hall, Billy Hatton, Frank Johnson, Clarinda Miles and Tulla Mosgrove Keaton are asked to call Mahala Reynolds Frazier at (606) 633-5650 or Charlene Collins at (859) 442-5854.

MIDDLE COWAN — The Middle Cowan Community reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 4, at the Cowan Community Center. Those attending should bring drinks, ice, water, a covered dish, bread or desserts. Donations are sought to cover the cost of the community center, plates, cups and bowls, and no alcohol is allowed. No pets can be in the community center building. WHS CLASS OF ’54 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1954 will hold its 60- year class reunion on Saturday, July 5, at Pine Mountain Grill. To make reservations, call Paul D. Adams at (606) 633-7562 or James Gilley at (606) 439-3216 before June 22. The cost is $25 per person. Arrival time is 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

FIELDS — The annual Fields family reunion will be held at 6 p.m., June 20, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., June 21, at the Cowan Community Center. The theme of the reunion is ‘60s. Those attending should bring a covered dish, dessert. The event will include a memory balloon release, silent auction, food, and fellowship. DAY/KELLY — The annual Day/Kelly family reunion will be held at 6 p.m., July 11; noon, July 12; and 8 a.m., July 13, at the Cowan Community Center. The theme of the reunion is birthday.
