Fourteen more candidates beat Tuesday’s filing deadline and will run for county offices in the May primary election.
Robert Gerald Baker, a Republican, filed to run for county judge/ executive.
Democrats Dellis Johnson, Scott Kiser, Charles ‘Chuck’ Blair and Sandy Hammock filed to run for jailer.
Teresa A. Osborne, a Republican, is running for coroner.
Democrats Patrick Wright, Billy Ray Cornett and Regina Holbrook are candidates for magistrate in District Three.
Delisa Cornett, a Democrat, is running for magistrate in District Four.
Randy Johnson, a Republican, is a candidate for magistrate in District Five.
Democrat Wayne Hall and Republican William “Cigar” Breeding have filed to run for constable in District Two.
Hatler Kiser, a Republican, is a candidate for constable in District Three.
The public drawing for positions on ballot will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 28 in the Letcher County Clerk’s Office.
