21 Letcher students earn academic honors at ALC

Twenty-one students from Letcher County have earned a high level of academic distinction at Alice Lloyd College for the 2018 Fall Semester.

Marcus Alan Baker, Megan Lee-Ann Combs, and Kacey Breanna Troutt of Whitesburg; Montana Edith Blair, Noah Alexander Blair, and Rayma LaShae Nichols of Jeremiah, and Dalton Chase McCown were named to the President’s List for achieving a 4.0 grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale).

Students named to the Dean’s Distinguished List for achieving a grade point average of 3.75-3.99 were Brittney Elizabeth Buttrey of Isom and Carlie Monae Nichols of Jeremiah.

Named to the Dean’s List for achieving a grade point average of 3.25-3.74 were Shelby Paige Kincaid of Blackey; William Trey Wilson of Ermine; Logan Mckinley Gibbs, Rebecca Lynn Rowe, and Nora Mykel Sander of Jenkins; Cameron Lake Brown and Tanner Ray Cook of Jeremiah; Emily Faith Stewart of Mayking; Tiffany Amber Quillen of Neon; and John Isaiah Bentley. Levi Austin Caudill, and Kaitlin Danielle Fields of Whitesburg.
