3 indicted for stealing service from Ky. Power



Three people are named in indictments returned by the Letcher County Grand Jury charging them with using an unauthorized hookup to obtain electricity from Kentucky Power Company.

Alban Ryan Hill, 32, and Jennifer Lynn Adams Hill, 34, both of 490 Sergent Road, Whitesburg, and Mitchell Mullins, 53, no address given, are each charged with complicity to theft of services and complicity to criminal mischief.

The grand jury says they used an unauthorized hookup to avoid payment for electrical services from August 24, 2012 through February 21, 2013 and damaged equipment belonging to Kentucky Power.

The grand jury heard testimony from Kentucky Power Revenue Protection Coordinator Steve Campbell before returning the indictments.

Also named in a separate indictment is Mary M. Kincer, 33, of 238 Sycamore Loop, Jeremiah. She is charged with theft of a credit card, two counts of unauthorized signature of credit card holder, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, two counts of receiving goods by fraudulent use of a credit card, and two counts of forgery.

Kincer is accused of taking a VISA credit card belong to Wallace Bolling Jr. and using the card to buy $101.20 and $12.16 in goods from Double Kwik on July 1.

Letcher County Deputy Sheriff Eugene Slone testified in that case.
