4 million hours and no serious accidents



Employees from the Burdine and Elkhorn City operations of Mountain Aggregates Inc. were honored with a lunch at the Burdine quarry operation October 26 and the presentation of a trophy they received for working four million man hours during the past nine years without a lost-time injury accident. Employees Ronnie Ratliff of Shelby Gap, second from left, Randy Hughes of Elkhorn City, and Donald Moore of Burdine were given special recognition for working 40 years without an accident.
