Three women have been indicted on burglary charges.
Tina R. Allen, 44, also known as Tina R. Jewett- Bresett, Angel Potter, 20, and Haley Bresett, 20, all of 1064 U.S. Hwy. 119 N, Whitesburg, are charged in the burglary of the home of Faith McGee.
The three face the same charges in the three indictments — second-degree complicity to burglary, fourth-degree complicity assault, and third-degree complicity to criminal mischief. They are accused of striking McGee in the head and/or shoving her into a wall.
• Named in two separate indictments are Thomas Jacobs, also known as Tom Jacobs, and Jackie Lynn Jacobs, 48, both of 119 Little Biggs Road, McRoberts. The grand jury accuses the two of complicity to theft by unlawful taking of a 2006 Pontiac GT automobile belonging to Rufus Garrett.
• Marcus Thomas Combs, 26, of 601 Burton Hill, Letcher, is charged with first-degree robbery and theft by unlawful taking. Combs is accused of using or threatening physical force upon Jason Buttrey in the course of committing a theft of $500 or more belonging to Isom Double KWIK.
• Justin L. Bullock, 29, is named in an indictment charging him with first-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (firearm), and theft by unlawful taking ($500 or more). Bullock is accused of entering the residence of Justin Polly while armed, and taking a .45 caliber handgun and a Honda Foreman 450 four-wheeler belonging to Polly.
• Robbie Dale Collins II, 24, of 855 Ramey Fork Road, Cromona, is charged with receiving stolen property (automobile) valued at $500 or more, first-degree trafficking controlled substance (methamphetamine, two grams or more), use/possession drug paraphernalia, second-degree robbery, and intimidating a participant in legal process. The grand jury says Collins had in his possession a 2011 Ford Focus which had been stolen from Jonathan Hetherington. Collins is charged with threatening Hetherington, whom he believed to be a participant in the legal process. In a second indictment, Collins is charged with bail jumping.
