90th birthday party for Lee Sexton

Beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, March 16, the Campbells Branch Community Center will host a 90th birthday party for renowned banjo player Lee Sexton.

Lee Sexton is known for his banjo playing, teaching and storytelling from Linefork to Carnegie Hall. Everyone is invited to come to the community center to help him celebrate his birthday.

There will be food, music and fun, and Mr. Sexton may be talked in to playing “Whoa Mule”, a song for which he is famous and well as many other songs.
