Friday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m., The Country Troubadours will be back with us with the best in classic country. Come on out and sing along with those old tunes we all cut our teeth on. The sound of the steel guitar and the piano on the old standards is awesome when Letcher County’s own Buddy Young sits down to play. Gary Joseph, the lead singer in this group, is a favorite of ours ‘round here. David Barnett, another Letcher County native, will wow you with his lead guitar and a little banjo picking here and there. Bill on the bass and that’s the icing on the cake. Last time Bill’s daughter came and played the drums and the show was awesome. Come on out and dance. We’ll be watching for your arrival.

Friday, July 18: Cross Country Bluegrass

Friday, July 25: Dawson Creek

Friday, Aug 1: Will Caudill and Rte. 7

Aspiring singers and musicians who want to share their talents are invited to play during intermission on Friday nights. The target audience is bluegrass/country/ folk. Limit two songs per individual/group until all who wish to pick have had a turn. Rotation as time allows. You will always find a kind and receptive crowd. We have some veteran musicians playing in featured bands who played their first public appearance as a novice on our stage. This is an opportunity to break the ice and get your feet wet so to speak. Everyone welcome!

Family fun for all ages. Kids get in free when accompanied by an adult. Good food, good music, good fellowship.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
