Candice Danielle Addington and Jason Robert Eldridge were married January 26 at Benham United Methodist Church by Rojer Jones. Music for the ceremony was provided by Mark Lawson.
The bride’s parents hosted a buffet dinner and reception at Benham Schoolhouse Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Addington of Whitesburg. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Eldridge of Cumberland.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of white silk satin. The gown featured a cut-out back detailed with Chantilly lace appliqué trim, full-length lace trimmed sleeves and a total of 165 self-fabric covered buttons complemented by a cathedral length train. A long, ethereal cathedral length veil and crystal and pearl adorned tiara completed the look. The dress was designed by Patricia Edwards of Fort Blackmore, Va. The bride carried a bouquet of roses in white and peach.
Larissa Addington, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Nikki Maggard, Jessica Frazier, Beth Eldridge, Brittney Sturgill, Amy Williams and Dolly Reed. The bridesmaids wore floor length gowns of champagne satin. Johnathan Adams served as best man.
The bride is a graduate of Whitesburg High School. She received a degree in practical nursing from Hazard Community and Technical College. The bridegroom is a graduate of Cumberland High School. He is employed with Cumberland River Coal Company as an electrician. Following a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple reside in Cumberland.
