Alma Fields dies at 93

ALMA FIELDS

Alma Fields, 93 of Isom, died November 6 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.

A daughter of the late Blaine and Eva Caudill Watts, she was the widow of D.Y. Fields.

Mrs. Fields was the mother of the late Donald Edward Fields and Sondra Lynn Fields, and a sister of the late Elmon Watts, Edward Watts, Ezra Watts, Winford Watts, Edna Sexton, and Wayne Watts.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Dixon and husband Danny of Redstar, and Patricia Caudill and husband Paul of Isom; two brothers, Herschel Watts of Indiana and Darrell Watts of Hallie; three sisters, Helen Birdwell and Wanda Neace, both of Michigan, and Joyce Caudill of Hallie; five grandchildren, Kristi Dixon, Misti Bird, Scott Fields, Chad Fields, and C.J. Fields; four great-grandchildren, Mason Fields, Presley Fields, Jordan Fields, and Ian Fields; a special friend, Gary Adams; a caretaker, Becky Day; and a nephew, Gary Watts.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fields were held November 10 at Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial was in the Caudill Cemetery at Redstar.

Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of the arrangements.
