Funeral services for Alma Sharon Johnson, 68, of Mayking, were held July 12 at the Pentecostal Church of Campbranch. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
A daughter of the late Riley and Lillian Holliman Caudill, she was born in Perry County. She died July 8 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson enjoyed sewing, cooking, cleaning, painting by numbers, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Ray Johnson; three sons, Billy Ray McKinney and wife Sandy of Vicco, Bobby Wayne McKinney and wife Christy of Blackey, and Riley Edward McKinney and wife Julie of Carrie; a stepson, Timothy Johnson and wife Jennifer of Lexington; three sisters, Betty Lou McKinney and Emma Faye Thomas, both of Pine Top, and Rebecca Nesbit of Sumpter, S.C.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by six brothers, Riley Edward Caudill, Frank Caudill, Arnold Lee Caudill, Albert Warren Caudill, Raymond Caudill and Charles Ray Caudill, and a sister, Stella Morris.
