Amy Ruth Collins Wilson, 59, died December 22 at her home in Lawrenceburg.
A daughter of the late Ronald Reed and Madeline Williams Collins, she was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was a 32-year employee of University of Kentucky Medical Center, serving as the administrative director of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology and administrative director of the Ovarian Cancer Screening Program. She was a 1971 graduate of Letcher County High School and in 1973 received an associate degree in social work from Alice Lloyd College.
She served four years as a board member of the Anderson County Board of Education, attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Hamilton Chapter #293.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Wayne Wilson; a son, Joshua Wilson of Winchester; a brother, Dan Atwood Collins and wife Charlotte of Melvin; and three sisters, Roseanna Sharp and husband Lowell and Lydia Collins, all of London, and Romita Thornsberry and husband Danny of Lexington.
Funeral services were held Dec. 27 in Lawrenceburg.
