Appalachian Wireless announces new service to the Partridge area

Appalachian Wireless is providing a new service in Letcher County. The wireless company recently began transmitting CDMA signal to the Partridge area.

CDMA technology provides call clarity, all-in-one communication devices with improved security, color graphics, polyphonic sounds, as well as the capability to wirelessly browse the Internet with speeds comparable to a home dialup connection, including the ability to send and receive pictures.

Danny VanHoose, director of marketing for Appalachian Wireless, said, “This new service specifically addresses an area in Letcher County that previously had no service from any provider, we are proud to be the first to serve the residents of that area.”
