Arbutis Antonikowski dies at 82

Arbutis Faye “Boots” Antonikowski, 82, of Corbin, died March 9 in Corbin.

A daughter of the late Boyd William and Ellen Holbrook Church, she was the widow of Joseph Michael Antonikowski.

Born in Kona, she was a sister of the late George Church, Coy Church, and Carl William Church, and a grandmother of the late Jason Michael Mobley.

She was a former housekeeper and had her own business, and was a member of Everlasting Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by five children, Regina Ellen Baker and husband John, Jr. of Corbin, Patrick Michael Antonikowski of Miami, Fla., Eva Maria Mobley and husband Richard Wayne, and William Joseph Antonikowski and wife Bridgett, all of Corbin, and Pamela Faye McVey and husband Tony R. of Gray; three sisters Beulah Mae Webb, Eulas Guy and husband Willie, and Sallie Kincer and husband Hughie; one brother Jerry Church and wife Joyce; a sister in-law, Avonelle Church; grandchildren James Antonikowski, Kevin Baker, Ryan Baker, Jennifer Ferrell, Joshua Mobley, Cody Mobley, Justin Antonikowski, Tyler Antonikowski, Noah Antonikowski and Samantha Fox; seven great-grandchildren Tristin Antonikowski, Sadie Jean Mobley, Ethan Riley Baker, Bentley Mobley, Cayden Mobley, William Antonikowski and Bentley Antonikowski.

Funeral services were held March 12, at O’Neil- Lawson Funeral Home in Corbin. Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery.
