Autism Awareness Advocates will meet from 12 to 2 p. m., Saturday, January 10, at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College in Whitesburg.
The group offers support and understanding to families that are affected by autism.
The organization raised awareness of autism last year by an annual walk, parades, training, an auction to raise money to buy autistic children iPads, and a Christmas party where each child got a gift.
The name of the group has been changed because it has branched out beyond Letcher County. There are now members from Perry, Knott, Pike, and Harlan counties.
