Sherry Burchell from the Kentucky River Area Agency on Aging presented the 2013 Partnership Award to the Quicksand Extension Area Family and Consumer Science (FCS) agents on January 15 for their support and partnership in presenting programs for senior citizens, Grandparent Hour, helping with health fairs, overseeing food preparation and serving food for Senior Games, and supporting and judging county and regional Golden Senior Art events. FCS agents in all eight counties work closely with the Kentucky River Area Development District.
