Bakery has new menu

Go to our Facebook page for announcements and pictures posted after each event, www.facebook.com/ pages/Hemphill-Community Center.

Greetings all!!!

We will have new bakery hours starting this week. We will be opening at 4:30 p.m. and will close at 9 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. This is the first tweaking of our hours. We have been wasting labor hours and firewood by opening too early. We are finding folks who buy pizza are many times working folks with jobs and dinnertime is later in the day. We are finding our way in these new territories.

Hemphill

One thing that will never change . . . the ingredients are still the best we can lay our hands on. Just know we are using the freshest possible on each thing we use in our products. They are all made from scratch with the finest possible components. The fresh shredded cheese, the freshest dough made with unbleached and whole grain flours. The freshest peppers and onions. Our onions caramelized in extra virgin olive oil. Locally butchered ground sausage, and sliced bacon on our pizza.

Check out our menu: https:// www.facebook.com/ Hemphillblacksheep/.

Special orders are welcome! (606) 671-7023

Black Sheep Bakery is now taking orders for loaf breads (white, 9 grain, and honey oat), sourdough, French bread, and hot rolls. Just wait till you try the cinnamon rolls, the monkey bread, and the sticky buns. We will be baking on our working days. Special orders can be picked up on regular business days. If the time doesn’t work for you, we will arrange for you to pick up. Message us on Facebook or call (606) 671-7023.

Thursday nights, we host a drum circle so bring your drum or percussion instrument and join us at 7 p.m.. Friday Nite Pickin’ will continue as usual every Friday. Saturday nights will feature open mic 7-9 p.m. Musicians can come sing for their supper every Saturday.

Special thanks for the kind volunteers in our community. Thanks for the donations of your time, talent, and treasure.

We need to announce that we will NOT be shutting down during the month of September as has been our custom in recent years. We will be having business as usual in that month as we are having to work hard to keep the bills paid and the lights on at Hemphill Community Center.
