Hemphill Community Center schedule of events:
Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 9 p.m.-12 midnight : New Year’s Eve party featuring Highway 23 and our own Gina Seals-Sparks. This is a really great band playing a broad spectrum of genres. You will be greatly pleased at spending your holiday with us. $10 admission with food and drinks included. Party foods, punch, drinks, and coffee! No free door prize passes will be accepted this night. Kids admission: 5 and under free, ages 6-12 $3, 13 and over $5 to cover food and drink. Bring your family and come and join us.
Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.: New Year’s Day with Will Caudill and RT 7. You don’t want to miss the first show in 2016. This band is fantastic. They play the smooth laid-back tunes to two-step to and hard driving tunes you will just love. Fred will play us some clawhammer banjo and Bordus will lay his bass down and raise a lot of dust on the dance floor. Come on out and support live music.

Jan. 15: Cross Country Bluegrass
Jan. 22: Dawson Creek
Jan. 29: Sunrise Ridge
Friday Nite Pickin’: Children get in free when accompanied by an adult. Open mic at intermission. Target audience country, folk, bluegrass, and Americana. Family friendly environment.
Inclement weather : Check our Facebook page two hours before any scheduled event. Any updates will be posted by then. If main roads and our parking area are clear we usually have events as posted.
