Since we were on vacation last week, I turned my news in a little early and forgot a few things.
There will be a multifamily yard sale at Lee and Wilma Pridemore’s home at Isom. It will be Wednesday and Thursday.
Bob, Hunter and Kenny Joe Banks, Bonita Adams, Liberty and Noah Campbell, Lyndci and Sadie Gilliam and I all loaded up last Monday and headed to Litchfield Beach, S.C., for a week.
We enjoyed biking, swimming, fishing and spoiling Sadie and Bob, Liberty, Noah and Hunter also rode go-carts and played miniature golf. It was a good week of family time.
Don and Lee Pridemore’s brother, Lenville, came in from Ohio and spent the day visiting with family here. Lee and he also visited Hargis Ison and drove up Walter’s Branch to see their old homeplace, where Ann Holbrook now lives.
Gillis Reedy, Dennis Ison and Terry Caudill were all released from the hospital last week. I hope all are doing better.
Pat Adams is helping out with her dad and mom, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Prince, while her sister is on vacation.
Anna Lou Blair is here from Lexington, helping out with her sister, Lillie Moss Hall, to give Mary Jo Blair a few days’ rest.
Roland and Carol Blair, their children, grandchildren and other family members all spent a week recently at Topsoil Beach, and really enjoyed their time together.
Glad Joyce Ball is feeling better. She recently had some health problems resulting from low potassium and dehydration. They got her fixed up with IVs.
Have a happy Fourth of July.
