A benefit concert for Luke Polly, an eight-yearold Mayking boy recently diagnosed with leukemia, is set for 5:30 p.m. March 13 at the Letcher County Central High School auditorium.
Luke, a son of Jonathan and Abby Polly, is undergoing chemotherapy treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Cost of admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages three to 12 and free for children two and under.
Entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Performers include Exit 23, Whiskey Valley, Shelley Young, Taylyn Geneil Combs, Maniah and Delvin Lucas, Blue Stone Mystic and Jeremy Dempsey.
The event will include a silent auction.
