The staff and management of Benham Schoolhouse Inn would like to offer our sincerest “Thank You” to everyone that has supported us along our journey. Since day one, you the community have been amazingly supportive. In fact, this Sunday we had the privilege of serving 140 of you during our Sunday buffet! We are beyond blessed by your patronage.

As we continue through this winter season, when many would consider closing the Inn due to the enormous cost, expenses, and anticipated financial loss, we intend to continue to serve you! Our priority in 2017 is “Community First”! The next few months have traditionally been a time of year when the Inn has met its most significant challenges. However, we believe through your continued support, we can prevail!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit our restaurant, The Dinner Bucket, please make plans to join us for lunch. We are certain you will not be disappointed! We have strived to create a dining experience equivalent to what one might expect in Lexington, Knoxville, or Johnson City; but at a price that is affordable to all. This isn’t achieved easily, and to be honest it has yielded a profit margin considered unacceptable to most businesses. However, we remain committed! As long as our expenses continue to be met and we continue to receive your support, we plan to provide this amenity to our community.

In the coming months, we ask you to please think of the Inn as affordable accommodations for travelers, outof town guests, or even a getaway opportunity for locals. We ask you to think of the Inn as you plan weddings, parties, celebrations and reunions. We ask you to think of the Inn when it is time for lunch or Sunday dinner. But more importantly, above all else, we ask you to think of the Inn as your partner in helping to build a brighter future for our community. Please help us spread our message as we continue to provide our community with affordable dining, special events and an experience second to none.
