Funeral services for Betsy Lee McClain, 64, were held April 6 in Whitesburg. Burial was in the McClain family cemetery at Redfox.
Born in Whitesburg, she was a daughter of the late Willis Lee Gibson and Irene Jones Caudill and the widow of Wendell McClain. She died April 3.
She was preceded in death by a son, Buford Eugene McClain, and a sister, Phyllis Ann Hall.
Surviving are six sons, Robert McClain and wife Georginne of Caudill Town, Wendell McClain and wife Cynthia of Sandlick, Timothy McClain and wife Tonya of Bottom Fork, Jonathan McClain and wife Mary of Little Colly, Coy Mc- Clain and wife Jeanette and Jeffery McClain and wife Katie, all of Thornton; two daughters, Myrtle Ann Shepherd and husband Billy of Sandlick, and Tammy Irene Webb and husband Shawn of Richmond; two brothers, Michael Kiser of Virginia, and Terry Kiser of Pistol City; five sisters, Lucy Ayers, Katy Stephens and Louise Pike, all of Little Colly, Vesta Mae Hall of Whitesburg, and Pam Kiser of Colson; 20 grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren.
