The Back to Our Appalachian Roots Project workshops held on June 10 were very successful. The gardening workshop, the cooking over the open fire, and the jam session were very informative. Ages across the lifespan were present and all enjoyed it. Thanks for all the volunteer help from our community; the work and cleanup were done in record time. Many hands sure do lighten the workload.

Urgent note: We have a change in schedule of the Back to Our Appalachian Roots workshops. We are proud to announce that blacksmith Dan Estep will be with us Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. Canning and preserving has been moved to Sept 16. We are so excited about the blacksmithing session!
