Blairs visit family, friends

Jeremiah

Chester and Odella Blair have been staying at their Jeremiah home for the last little bit, visiting family and friends. They attended Mount Olivet Church this past Sunday, as did many others, and we were blessed with a good church service.

Our sympathy to Joanne Walters of Blackey, whose sister, Minerva, died in northern Kentucky. Joanne had gotten to visit her the week before she died, and was going to attend Minerva’s funeral that was held this past Tuesday.

Don, Coreen, K. P. Pridemore and I went to Ohio last Saturday to take in a family visit and the flea market. We visited Roy Kenon and Billie Jean Smith, and then had lunch at Bill and Elva Marshall’s before heading back with our load of market ‘junk’.

Lana Pridemore took care of the grandsons while “Ketzi” was with us and Amber and Shane were working. Lana was even brave enough to take Luke and Derrick to Walmart.

Luke had fun attending a birthday party for Allison Blair Smith’s son, Bentley, who turned three. He and all the others looked like they had a fun time.

Taschelle and Brian Sexton’s little boy, William, celebrated his first birthday with a party too, and looked to have had a big time.

Kenneth and Anna Lou Blair have been visiting family here for a few days.

Bill Adams has been a little under the weather and Joyce had a fall, but hopefully both are doing better.

Just a little column this week. Enjoy the upcoming week.
