Black Sheep Bakery and good drug free (chemical preservative free) bread are coming . . .
We have been making bread every week. Last week we worked on sourdough. It is all trial and error. We have cooked up about 150 pounds of flour experimenting with recipes and techniques.
Last week’s sourdough was a big success. When we pulled our Dutch ovens from the oven we had high-fives all around. It was beautiful and tasty too. Kudos to our bread-baking Brad Johnson for all his hard work in learning and teaching the rest of us.
You can’t possibly have a clue how much it meant to us for it to turn out so well. We were ecstatic!
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is Saturday morning beginning at 8 a.m. We will stop serving at 10:30 a.m. Take your own pictures. Easter Egg hunt will follow at 11 a.m. Bring all kids, birth to 90.
